Sherridon Homes expands into Shepparton, responding to the region’s housing demand

Sherridon Homes, a leading home builder in Victoria, is set to deepen its regional footprint with a new office opening in Shepparton, marking a significant step forward in the company’s regional expansion strategy.

The new office will support Shepparton’s growing housing demand, as the region experiences economic and population growth driven by infrastructure projects and increased employment opportunities.

Shepparton General Manager, James MacGibbon emphasised the importance of this expansion. “Shepparton’s ongoing economic development, alongside its strategic position within regional Victoria, make it a key area for growth.

“The recent completion of major projects like the $229 million GV Health redevelopment has seen its staff numbers grow to over 3000 across all sites, attracting new residents and healthcare professionals to the area, raising the demand for quality housing.

According to the Shepparton-Mooroopna 2050 Regional City Growth Plan, the population is set to increase significantly by 2050, driven by new residents seeking the blend of affordability and quality of life that Shepparton offers.

“Our new Shepparton office will allow us to engage more closely with the community, offering end-to-end services while working with local suppliers and trades. The Shepparton office comes at a time when the housing market in the region is evolving, with new estates such as The North Quarter, Uptown, additional stages in Sanctuary Park, and Sevens Creeks paving the way for significant residential development.
